SB1369 CDA Sponsored VCC Payments Bill

Requires virtual credit card companies and dental plans to provide a clear and easy process to opt in or out of VCC payments.
SB1369 A CDA-sponsored bill, passed by the California Legislature late August 2024, will protect dentists from dental plans’ coercive collection of virtual credit card payments and require VCC companies and dental plans to provide a clear and easy process for opting in and out of VCC payments. SB1369 is now headed to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s desk for a signature. Read more about the bill and CDA’s long-term campaign for dental benefit plan reform.
