Project Homeless Connect
The mission of Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is to provide a single location where non-profit medical and social service providers collaborate to serve the homeless of San Francisco with comprehensive, holistic services. The SFDS, collaborating with the SFDPH and the two dental schools, provide screenings and dental care for San Francisco’s most underserved, volunteering three – four times each year, working out of Bill Graham Civic Auditorium and at designated Department of Public Health Dental Clinics. While all-day shifts welcomed, we provide opportunities for those wanting to volunteer in the morning or the afternoon, 8 AM – Noon or Noon – 4 PM. All volunteers must be SFDS licensed member dentists. Volunteers will confirm that they carry liability insurance and forward a copy of Proof of Liability Declaration to the SFDS.
