Although the next increase California's minimum wage is still six months away, San Francisco's minimum wage rises to $13.00 per hour starting on July 1, 2016. This increase is part of Proposition J, which passed in 2014 with more than 76% of the vote. The new required poster is available on the Office of Labor Standards Enforcement's (OLSE) Minimum Wage Ordinance page. San Francisco's minimum wage will gradually rise to $15 per hour by 2018, with future increases tied to the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
