The Dental Board of California has recently published new fees for dental licensure and renewals, effective July 1, 2014.  These fee increases will be the first assessed on dentists since 1998, and only fees based off dental licensure and renewal fees will be raised.  Affected categories with new rates:

  • Initial Dental License Fee: $450
  • Dental License Renewal Fee (Active & Inactive): $450
  • Retired & Disability License Renewal Fee: $225
  • Delinquency Fees for Retired & Disability Licensees: $112.50
  • Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Permit Renewal Fee: $450
  • Initial Fictitious Name Permit Fee: $450
