Benjamin Chaffee, DDS, MPH, PhD, is an associate professor in the Division of Oral Epidemiology and Dental Public Health at the University of California San Francisco. He has authored more than 70 publications on topics including tobacco use, children’s oral health, caries risk assessment, and research methods. Dr. Chaffee is affiliated with the UCSF Center for Tobacco Control Research & Education, Global Health Sciences Institute, the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the Center to Address Disparities in Children's Oral Health. He serves as Director of the UCSF School of Dentistry Program in Global Oral Health.
